The CL-220SD is a 420 line color, indoor dome camera with a Sony CCD CCTV lens and infrared LEDs. It is designed for covert surveillance needs; compact size allows installation onto drop ceilings. It's minimal profile allows for discrete surveillance. The camera is equipped with 3.6mm lens for wide angle viewing from every angle. Sony CCD sensors and advanced DSP technology result in exceptionally clear image quality.
The CL-220SD is ideal for indoor areas like small retail shops, homes, and stores. It provides great assistance in tackling with problems like theft, burglary or shoplifting. It keeps you and your valuables safe and sound all hours of the day.

Lens Notes
The CL-220SD's 3.6mm lens provides a 60 degree field of view with a point of clarity extending out to 15 - 20 feet. This is an excellent camera choice for general observation of small to mid-size indoor locations.
Additional board lenses of varying sizes can be purchased and manually installed to customize the camera for a variety of applications.
Infrared Notes
Though this camera is equipped with infrared LED's, it is not suitable for low light or night use. Because the LED's are housed inside the dome, the infrared energy cannot properly transmit through the concave cover. The result is too much IR returning to the lens, and a completely whited-out image in low light. Dome cameras like the CL-512SH and CL-515SH work around this phenomenon by emitting IR through specially made flat glass.
The CL-220SD can be used with good results if the dome covering is removed.
Installation and Mounting Notes
The CL-220SD is mounted by removing the dome, and mounting the housing from the camera side. The camera is ideally mounted directly on top or under a ledge or mountable surface. Mounting this camera on a wall will result in a lopsided or sideways image.
