My DVR says "HDD full." (on MPEG4 DVR models)
The "Full" light is on. (on JPEG2000 DVR models)
Solution
This is simply a notification, and no action is required.
The hard drive has reached maximum capacity since the last time it was cleared. The hard drive is now being overwritten from the point of oldest data. "HDD full" notifies the user that the DVR is properly recording to the hard drive, and that the is successfully recording over its oldest video footage.
